Assistant Professor

As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses, conducting research in your area of expertise, and contributing to the academic community through service and outreach activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and lab sessions
  • Designing and updating course curricula to ensure relevance and alignment with program objectives
  • Supervising and mentoring students, including thesis and dissertation advising
  • Conducting original research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at academic conferences
  • Securing external research funding through grants and contracts
  • Participating in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives
  • Providing academic advising and career guidance to students
  • Engaging in community outreach and service activities

Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate degree in the relevant field of study
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to student success
  • Strong research record with a growing portfolio of publications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive academic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
