The Al Jamia Arts and Science College hostels are a cornerstone of student life, offering a welcoming, secure and supervised environment for residents. Set within the quiet 50-acre campus at Poopalam, they serve as a home away from home for the duration of a student's studies, with wardens and mentors in residence, dining and common areas, and study space.
Men and women students are accommodated in separate blocks.
Hostel admission
Hostel accommodation is applied for alongside, or after, admission to a programme.
- Apply at the college office once your programme admission is confirmed, or ask for the hostel form at the time of admission.
- Rooms are allotted by the warden of the respective hostel, subject to availability.
- Hostel fees are remitted separately from tuition fees, within the time stated at allotment.
- Residents are bound by the hostel rules and the college code of conduct for students.
