Al Jamia College Library offers students an excellent selection of Books, Journals, Magazines, e-information resources, CDs and audio-visual aids with Internet facilities. The library has a total area of several thousand sq.ft and can accommodate fifty users at a time. The Library has a collection of over 5,371 books, and enhances reading habits in students by creating a learning space computerised through the Online Public Access Catalogue (Koha).

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.

• Identity Card is must for Library entrance and users should record their details in the gate Register.
• Students are allowed to take only pen and paper inside the Library.
• Keep your bags and personal belongings at the property counter near the entrance.
• Silence should be maintained in the library and its immediate premises.
• Faculty can borrow 5 books, UG students can borrow 3 books, PG students borrow 4 books from the library.
• Students are requested not to replace books in the stack — please leave them on the chairs placed in the stacks.
• Borrowed books should be returned on the due date stamped on the date label. A fine of Rs. 1 will be levied for each day a book is detained beyond the due date.
• Renewals are allowed only once, for 14 days, when there is no claim by others.
• Loss of borrowed books/library cards must be reported immediately in writing to the Librarian.
• Reference books and dissertations will not be lent out.
