The Department of Food Technology, Al Jamia Arts and Science College, Perinthalmanna, conducted an Industrial Visit to Nile Food Products, Idukki, on 31 August 2026 as part of the academic curriculum.

Students from the 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters participated in the visit along with faculty members. The visit provided students with practical exposure to food processing operations, production procedures, quality control, hygiene and packaging practices. It was an informative and enriching experience that helped students connect their theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial practices.
