A Grand Celebration of Academic Excellence: AJAS College Hosts 2026 Convocation Ceremony

Al Jamia Arts and Science College (AJAS) celebrated its 2026 Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The prestigious event honored the graduating batch, drawing a large gathering where more than 250 students and their families actively participated in the milestone celebration alongside faculty and distinguished guests.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. C. D. Sebastian, Director of the Directorate of Admissions at the University of Calicut, who delivered an inspiring keynote address on utilizing education for societal betterment. Principal Dr. (Lt. Cdr. Rtd.) CK Abdul Rabbi Nistar welcomed the gathering, followed by a presidential address from Management Committee Chairman Dr. Abdussalam Ahmed. Concluding the formal addresses, Mr. Sharafudheen AT (Secretary) and Mr. Mubarak (Vice Principal) delivered felicitations to honor the graduates.

The event’s flawless execution was spearheaded by the general coordinators alongside specialized staff and student committees. Key operational responsibilities were successfully managed by dedicated teams handling Registration, Seating, Attire & Certificate Distribution, Stage Management, and Finance. This year’s graduation marks a unique milestone, coinciding with a tightening academic landscape in the state.
