Permanent Cell to Combat Sexual Harassment at AJAS College is an institutionally established body dedicated to addressing and preventing incidents of sexual harassment within the college campus. Its primary objective is to provide a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff, ensuring that any reports of sexual harassment are taken seriously and appropriately investigated. The cell is responsible for promoting awareness about sexual harassment, conducting sensitization programs, and implementing preventive measures to create a culture of respect and gender equality throughout the college community.

To cultivate a campus environment where every individual feels safe, respected, and valued, free from any form of sexual harassment or discrimination, thereby promoting gender equality and fostering a culture of dignity and integrity.

1. Prevention and Awareness:

• Conducting regular awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to educate  students, faculty, and staff about sexual harassment, consent, and the importance of a respectful and inclusive campus culture.

2. Support and Counseling:

• Providing confidential counseling and support services to victims of sexual harassment, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance and feel empowered to report incidents.

3. Strict Enforcement:

• Implementing and enforcing strict policies and procedures in line with legal and institutional regulations to prevent and address sexual harassment, ensuring prompt and fair action against offenders.

4. Creating a Safe Environment:

• Promoting a supportive and respectful campus atmosphere where open dialogue and mutual respect are encouraged, and all members of the community feel safe to express themselves without fear of harassment.

5. Reporting and Redressal Mechanism:
