About
Established in 2010, the Department of Computer Applications at Al Jamia Arts & Science College is dedicated to providing quality education in Computer Science and Information Technology. The department offers an industry-oriented curriculum that equips students with technical knowledge, practical skills and professional values. Through innovative teaching methods, hands-on laboratory sessions, internships, workshops, seminars and placement training, the department prepares students for successful careers in the IT industry and higher education. The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme, offered in the self-financing stream, was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in 2024.
