In 2015 BSc Computer Science Programme introduced by department. The Department of Computer Science is committed to provide quality education to aspiring graduates. At present, it has five Assistant Professors with rich experience in the field of teaching. The department is endowed with a group of well experienced and dedicated faculty members who aim to impart sound knowledge and awareness in the latest trends of Computer Science and Applications. The department encourages student’s involvement in various co-curricular activities along with their academics The department has two well equipped and advanced operational Computer laboratories to provide the students with the necessary and sufficient backing of practical knowledge, inorder to encourage them to manifest their innovative ideas. The laboratory provides 30 licensed OS machines with facilities in the area of Internet Technology, Advanced Software Programming, Microprocessor Programming and Open Source Technologies. The department has consistently achieved excellent results in the university examinations and has a track record in securing University Ranks. Experts from the Technical area are periodically invited to give lectures/demonstrations to the students on the latest developments in the field. As part of the faculty empowerment, the faculty members are encouraged to attend seminars and workshops in assorted areas.
