Department of Geography

Established in the year 2016 The Department of Geography is committed to provide quality education to aspiring graduates. At present, it has Three Assistant Professors with rich experience in the field of teaching. The department is endowed with a group of well experienced and dedicated faculty members.

This programme in particular will impart knowledge in conventional and recent concepts and its applications in various areas of Geography. Further, the programme provides training to students in various practical aspects of Geography. Students will be able to gain unique knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate applications in new emerging professions related to Geography.

The mission of a geography department is to advance knowledge and understanding of the Earth’s physical and human environments through research, education, and outreach.
