PROTECT YOUR PLATE – A Campaign for Healthy Food Choices

The Department of Food Technology, in association with IQAC, organized an outreach programme titled “Protect Your Plate – A Campaign for Healthy Food Choices” at PTM AUP School, Mulliakurssi, on 11 June 2026.

The programme was conducted by the students of the Department of Food Technology to create awareness about food safety, healthy eating habits, and personal hygiene among school students. Our students actively and enthusiastically handled the session and demonstrated simple food safety tests and practices. The school students participated with great interest and interacted actively throughout the programme.

The outreach programme was successful in promoting food safety awareness and encouraging healthy food choices among the participants.
